George Strait has announced the xxxx schedule for his Farewell Tour (The Cowboy Rides Away Tour). The xxxx George Strait Farewell Tour is scheduled to begin with a concert in Bossier City, LA on January 9, xxxx and proceed to appear in 26 major markets with the finale in Arlington, TX at the AT&T Stadium.
The George Strait xxxx Farewell Tour will feature different special guests for each of the concerts (special guests have been updated in the table at the bottom of this article). The special guests for the xxxx Tour will include such performers as Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Ronnie Dunn, Vince Gill, Merle Haggard, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Lee Ann Womack & Chris Young.

In April xxxx the Farewell Tour will hold concerts in Wichita, KS (INTRUST Bank Arena), Denver, CO (Pepsi Center), Portland, OR (Moda Center), Tacoma, WA (Tacoma Dome), Des Moines, IA (Wells Fargo Arena) and - Tulsa, OK (BOK Center - Bank of Oklahoma Center).
In May xxxx the George Strait Tour will appear at the Bayou Country Superfest in Baton Rouge, LA (Tiger Stadium) and in Foxborough, MA (Gillette Stadium).
The final concert for the George Strait xxxx Farewell Tour will be in Arlington, TX at the AT&T Stadium.
George Strait has announced the lineup for the concert in Arlington, the last show on his Farewell Tour. 
The opening act for the show in Arlington will be the Texas band Asleep at the Wheel.
