CITISCAPE AT ESSEN APARTMENT COMMUNITY Assistant Property Manager Job Summary:The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager with all on-site operations and achieving property financial and operational objectives of the community. The Assistant Property Manager will represent the company in the highest degree of confidentiality and professionalism, display a sales aptitude and outgoing personality, and utilize strong communication skills. The Assistant Property Manager will strive to provide the highest quality of resident services possible, and will work with the Property Manager to ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all local, state and federal, landlord/tenant and real estate and Fair Housing laws. Hours of Operation Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm ( 3-4 days per week)Saturday - 8:30am - -5:30pmSunday - 1:00pm – 5:00pm Must be able to provide extended evening and/or weekend leasing coverage if needed and provide after hours, emergency response coverage in the absence of the Property Director and Assistant Property Director.Job Duties — General Creates positive, welcoming, supportive environment for residents, visitors, and property associates Works with property management team to minimize expenditures, maximize revenues and operate within cost parameters JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent 2 or more years experience in multi-family property management, including direct supervision of others Proven marketing and leasing experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent customer service skills Ability to perform in a busy, changing, multi-tasking work environment Requires ability to physically inspect property and individual units Requires a valid driver's license, an insured vehicle, and the ability to travel as needed for errands, on-call emergencies, training, etc. Preferred professional designation: CAM, ARM, or CPM
