Job Description We are looking for a skilled and experienced Insurance Surveillance Investigator to join our growing team of professionals. The Surveillance Investigator will primarily focus on conducting all facets of an insurance investigation and writing detailed reports to document their findings. This position will be full:time, and reports to the regional Surveillance Manager. Job Responsibilities The Surveillance Investigator will be responsible for investigating red flags relating to potentially fraudulent insurance claims. In addition to covering the Baton Rouge area, the Surveillance Investigator will also be required to travel to locations throughout Louisiana, to include the contiguous states on occasion, as needed. More specific responsibilities for the Insurance Surveillance Investigator will include:Conducting Surveillance on personal injury claimantsMeeting strict deadlines to present your final reportsWriting detailed reports about your findingsMeeting strict deadlines to present your final reportsPackaging video daily prior to leaving the job site and submitting video electronically when connected to the internet Requirements Job Requirements At least one year of experience with insurance defense investigations, law enforcement, military or a degree in Criminal Justice is preferred. In addition, the Surveillance Investigator must have an in:depth knowledge of insurance claims in order to be considered for this position. This person must be willing to have an extremely flexible work schedule. This is an industry wide requirement, as cases often require investigators to work odd or hours, weekends, and holidays on occasion. PLEASE NOTE that the ideal candidate should already possess a Louisiana private investigators license.
