Instructional Connections, LLC is a fully integrated provider of high quality instructional support services to colleges and universities that offer online courses and degree programs. Universities work collaboratively with Instructional Connections to deliver high quality courses at an affordable cost. Within the online course, students are assigned an Academic Coach (sometimes referred to by a different title for different programs : Teaching Assistant, Instructional Associate, etc.). Often the Academic Coach is the students initial point of contact, and acts in much a similar fashion that a traditional teaching assistant does in a university. We are currently working with 31 universities (over 50 programs) and were expected to add several others in the coming year.
These positions are virtual and do not require residence in a particular city or state. We are unable to hire applicants that are not US Citizens or who not authorized to work in the US.
Minimum Job Requirements by Program Type:
For Undergrad and Graduate Nursing and other Healthcare Related Programs:
A current and valid RN license and Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or greater is required. PhD Nursing Science or DNP
(doctorate/terminal degree) is strongly preferred for MSN programs. Nursing degrees must be from CCNE or NLNAC accredited institutions. Minimum of 3 years of nursing practice experience required; prior experience teaching experienced is highly preferred.
:Family and Adult Nurse Practitioner (MSN in NP REQUIRED with NP License with prescriptive authority)
:Nursing Education (MSN REQUIRED; PhD or Enrolled in PhD Program AND Certified Nurse Educator Strongly Preferred)
:Nursing Management and Administration (MSN REQUIRED; PhD or Enrolled in PhD Program AND NEA:BC Strongly Preferred)
:Nursing Research and Evidence Based Practice (MSN and PhD in Nursing or Enrolled in PhD Program REQUIRED; Preferred with Work Experience in Research)
For Graduate Education Programs:
A doctorate/terminal degree (PhD or EdD REQUIRED; EdS is not a terminal degree) or actively pursuing a terminal degree (estimated completion within 3 years) is required. Education degrees must be from NCATE accredited institutions. Minimum of 3 years experience in an educational environment or institution. National Board Certified Teacher (NBCTs), Principal and/or Superintendent Certifications are highly desired
:Educational Psychology (EdD/PhD REQUIRED)

:Special Education / Autism (EdD/PhD REQUIRED)
For Business Programs:
A minimum of a Masters Degree in Business related field with at least 18+ graduate hours in the specific course content area is REQUIRED. Terminal Degree or Actively pursuing a Terminal Degree is STRONGLY PREFERRED. Business degrees must be from AACSB accredited institutions. Experience in online education is preferred.
