The School of Kinesiology announces the availability of a tenured/tenure-track Associate Professor position in the area of Physical Education Pedagogy. The successful candidate will have a commitment to scholarship productivity, teaching excellence, and service to the profession. The appointment will be effective August 15, xxxx. Required Qualifications: Doctorate or equivalent degree in Kinesiology, or a related filed. Evidence of a strong record in: Publishing in peer reviewed journals, teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in areas of expertise, obtaining external funding for scholarly activities, and providing service to the University and the profession. Three years as a tenure-track Associate Professor. Special Requirements: Desired Qualifications: Have a keen interest in the area of youth physical activity, fitness, and school health promotion with a strong background in research design and methodology.
