Information Technology Systems Analyst in Baton Rouge, Louisiana For Sale
Turner Industries Group is looking for a IT Systems Analyst to join our IT Team in Baton Rouge, LA. The IT System Analyst will plan, administer, and maintain business critical applications in support of core organizational functions. The primary function of this IT Systems Analyst role will be to support our FileNet System. This position requires good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate and resolve system issues in order to maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide primary support for the Turner's ECM (Enterprise Content Management)/DM (Document Mgmt.) system, FileNet.
Provide support for other Turner ECM applications as assigned.
Customize and configure the application to meet business requirements.
Work with the business owner to gather requirements and provide support as required.
Conduct technical research on system patches and upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, time required, and compatibility with current system.
Identify options for potential solutions and evaluate them from a technical view.
Develop technical documentation and problem resolution for future use.
Work as a team member with other technical staff, such as networking, to ensure connectivity and compatibility between systems.
Provide training to new users on the application.
Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication.
Ability to learn and support new systems.
Required skills:
Knowledge of ECM Administration(Enterprise Content Management)/DM (Document Mgmt.) applications such as FileNet, Documentum, Sharepoint, etc.
Working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), including Oracle or MS-SQL Server.
Ability to write SQL queries.
SQL based programming languages.
Application Knowledge: Document Management application such as FileNet
Reporting Tools: Cognos, Crystal, Reporting Services
OS: MS Windows
