As a member of the Butterfly Effects' Interdisciplinary Team, the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) applies his or her education, skills, experience, passion, and compassion to provide for the overall direction and coordination of ABA therapy for our clients in the setting of their choice. The BCBA partners with the client / family unit to develop treatment plans, training, opportunities in the school, home, and community setting to advance the goals prioritized by the family and team. The BCBA collaborates with the Registered Behavior Technician to plan, coordinate, and provide for services to exceed the expectations of the client / family unit, while contributing to the mission and common purpose of the Company.
â¨Qualified candidates will possess the following:
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field. Current Certification by the BACB or eligibility to sit for the Certification Exam near term. Licensed to practice in current state of service, (if applicable).
Minimum of 1-year experience providing services to persons with developmental disabilities, preferably in the home setting.
Confidence in conducting assessments / reassessments, developing plans & supervising team members in carrying out treatment plans.
Demonstrates a solid work ethic and cultural fit supportive of 'purpose before task' mantra.
Proven experience hiring, supervising and directing paraprofessional personnel.
Demonstrates experience managing multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Excellent oral/written communication & interpersonal skills; demonstrates active listening skills.
Solid knowledge of the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis, including: general behavioral assessment, goal and program development, and Ethical Standards in Behavior Analysis.
Mastery of electronic based tools, including Microsoft Office, email, and client-centered documentation systems, a plus.
Experience with commercial payers, preferred.
Commitment to service excellence philosophy and interdisciplinary therapy for clients on the Autism spectrum.
Excellent teaching skills and experiential competencies.
Projects a professional appearance and demeanor.
Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and the minimum state required liability automobile insurance or access to reliable transportation. Ability to travel independently to business related locations.
