The book value is $225 each and going up ever year. And shipwreck coins from that year are worth more. (shipwreck coins are not in the book) but coins from that year are worth $225 each. I have seen one El Cazador best grade coin sell for $490 on E-bay, and from the picture that I seen mine are in better shape.
This coin has suffered the effects of the sea, but has not lost too much of the detail, with the obverse and reverse still showing much of the all original design and legends, which are mostly legible and readable. The reverse features the crowned, Spanish Shield. It isn't too bad for a sea salvaged coin, being a nice represenative piece, recovered in over 300 feet of salt water! It was minted in Mexico City.
