ALICAZAM, Sweetie and Sonny, DOB 6-1-xxxx Sweetie Pie had been in labor for 3 days, huffing, puffing, panting, turning in circles trying to get comfortable. She was a nervous wreck and so was I. Neither of us was getting any sleep and yet not one contraction. Okay, humans go through all this also, I kept telling myself. The only time Sweetie seemed to relax at all was if she was beside me on my bed. So, whenever I was sleeping, watching TV (seldom) or on my bed working on my computer .Sweetie had the mommy-to-be privilege of being at my side. About 9pm with Sweetie beside me, I was watching TV and working on updating my website when I got a call from a customer. We worked together searching the website for the pup they were interested in purchasing and did the usual puppy talk for about 20 minutes. I hung up, looked at Sweetie, and ..lo and behold, she had a pup nursing on her; all cleaned up, brand new and shinny. ABRACADABRA! ALACAZAM like magic, the magic only God can conjure up! Sweetie, with only the hand of God helping, had just popped out her little pup, cut the cord and cleaned her in the few minutes I was distracted; without any help at all from little ol? me. I was so disappointed not to have been helping with the birth. Like magic, ALACAZAM, our newest Angel appeared. Turns out ALACAZAM was an only child. After another sleepless night of worry, an early morning visit to the vet, terrified of an emergency C-section, a $200 x-ray revealed; Sweetie was just fine .no more pups to deliver. All?s well that ends well, right? So our magical little girl, ALACAZAM, is now 4 weeks old and just adding play to her routine of eating and sleeping. She is spending time with Sugar?s litter everyday so she won?t know she is an only child. She needs to get the normal socialization that only being part of a litter can provide. I have to send Sweetie out to play with our other adults so she doesn?t stress and worry, over her missing pup. Sweetie thinks if ALACAZAM is not in their little house (kennel), her pup is missing and Sweetie begins frantically searching everywhere for her baby. Sweetie is a very good Mom. ALACAZAM is ready for her photo debut to the world now and the search for her forever parents is starting in earnest. ALACAZAM?s Dad is Sonny Boy, Gift of Jesus. Sonny is from a Champion bloodline; his grandpa and great grandpa were AKC Champions.
